Tween Programs

THESE PROGRAMS ARE GEARED TOWARD KIDS IN GRADES 3-8.

Lego club

Kids in grades 3-8 will build candy dispensers for conversation hearts or participants may build based on their interests. All Lego Club creations will be on display until the next Lego Club and grades K-8 are invited to attend North Dickinson’s Session. No registration required!

Bow Wows and Books

Learning to read doesn’t have to be intimidating, especially when you have a furry friend at your side! Kids of all ages are invited to practice their literacy skills by reading aloud to therapy dogs Azul, a Siberian Husky-mix, and Diogee, a Sheepadoodle. Required registration begins on Wednesday, January 4; please call the Main Branch at 906-774-1218 to reserve a 15-minute time slot with either or both dogs!

Gamers' Club

Calling all video game enthusiasts in grades 3 through 8, Gamers’ Club is now at all three branches! Enjoy some snacks from the Friends of the Library and play a variety of video and board games at this month’s session.
