THESE PROGRAMS ARE GEARED TOWARD CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO GRADE 2.

BOW WOWS AND BOOKS

Learning to read doesn’t have to be intimidating, especially when you have a furry friend at your side! Kids of all ages are invited to practice their literacy skills by reading aloud to therapy dogs Azul, a Siberian Husky-mix, and Diogee, a Sheepadoodle. Required registration begins on Wednesday, January 4; please call the Main Branch at 906-774-1218 to reserve a 15-minute time slot with either or both dogs!
Wednesday, February 8 at 5:00 PM at the Main Branch

Valentine's day Storytimes

Fall in love with reading at these special storytime sessions for children ages birth through 5 with stories, songs, and crafts to build early literacy! No registration is required for these storytime sessions.

Monday, February 13 at 10:30 AM @ North Dickinson Branch

Just "Doh" It

Join us for our new playdough club that provides guided and independent activities such a letter formation, shape identification and more for kids ages 3-5. Playing with playdough is great activity to build fine motor skills and encourages children’s language and literacy, science, and math skills all at the same time.
There is no registration required.
