Adult Winter Reading Ends!

To take advantage of the cold weather season, the Dickinson County Library will be hosting Cocoa Club, an Adult Winter Reading program! The program will begin on Monday, January 29 and last through Friday, March 23. Adults 18 and over can sign up at any branch of the Dickinson County Library and receive a reading log to keep track of their books over the winter months. Turn in your reading log or record all of your books on Wandoo Reader by Friday, March 23 to be entered to win prizes! Alaskan Adventures with Verna Pollock

March is Reading Month, and the Dickinson County Library is celebrating with a series of local author visits! Meet Verna Pollock, author of Alaskan Adventures, Saturday, March 24, 11 AM at the Dickinson County Library—Main Branch! Ms. Pollock will share insights about writing her book and answer questions, with signed copies available for sale. Alaskan Adventures is a work of young adult fiction about finding hope despite facing hardship, featuring the recollections of actual young adults who grew up in the former Minfield Children's Home of Auk Bay, Alaska.
This program is open to all ages, but young adults (grades 6-12) are especially invited!
