sticky Storytime sessions

Tuesdays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 10:30 AM @ Main Branch
Fridays, April 5 and 19 at 10:30 AM @ North Dickinson Branch
Thursdays, April 11 and 25 at 10:30 AM @ Solomonson Branch- Norway
 Spring into early literacy with books, songs, and activities at our Sticky Storytime Sessions! These programs for kids ages 0-5 and their caregivers will use the five ready to read practices: reading, singing, talking, playing, and writing to promote early literacy practices and create lifelong readers. No registration required! 

Just Doh It!

Join us for this play dough club that provides guided and independent activities such as letter formation, shape identification, and more for kids ages 3-5. Playing with play dough is a great activity to build fine motor skills and encourages children’s language and literacy, science, and math skills all at the same time. No registration required.

eCLIPSE KITS

Available starting Saturday, April 6 @ Main and Solomonson-Norway Branches

Kits for all ages will be available for patrons at the Main and Solomonson-Norway Branches that will contain special eye protection glasses to view the Total Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8. Each kit will contain an age-appropriate activity to do as well. The specialized eye protection glasses were obtained from the Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program. 

Catch a Glimpse of the eCLIPSe

Monday, April 8 at 145-2:30 PM @ North Dickinson School Football Field

Catch a Glimpse of the Total Solar Eclipse at this fun program for all ages. Students, staff, and community members will meet on the North Dickinson School Football Field to view the eclipse with specialized glasses to protect your eyes. The specialized eye protection glasses were obtained from the Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program

Lego Club

Tuesday, April 9 at 3:15 PM @ North Dickinson Branch

Build yourself up at Lego Club! This monthly program for kids in grades K-8 offers the opportunity to be creative while building with Legos. This month, build something out of this world! No registration required!

bow wows and Books

Wednesday, April 10 at 5:00 PM @ Main Branch

Patrons of all ages and reading abilities can practice their reading skills by reading aloud to therapy dogs, Diogee, a Sheepadoodle, and Angel, a Teddy-Bear. Registration begins on Wednesday, April 3; please call (906) 774-1218 to sign up for a 15-minute time slot with either or both dogs!

Lego Club, jr.

Monday, April 15 at 4:00 PM @ Main Branch

Calling all budding engineers! Kids in grades K-2 will be challenged to build a Spring masterpiece out of Legos at this month's meeting. Playing with Legos increases fine motor skills, helps gain problem solving skills, builds self-confidence, and more! No registration required
