Summer Series –  Botvin LifeSkills Training with Mr. Ryan!

Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) is an evidence-based substance abuse and violence prevention program for youth.  Even one series of LST has been proven to achieve measurable positive effects, but multi-session (grade level) implementation is strongly recommended. Long-term follow-up studies also show that LST produces prevention effects that are durable and long-lasting.

Botvin LifeSkills Training has been offered at many of our local schools in Dickinson and Iron Counties, but not all grade levels have been available, and it has not been available to area homeschool students.  This summer, Mr. Ryan is excited to offer series lessons for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9.  Even if your child has had LST in school for another grade level, it is proven that reinforcement with another grade level series is beneficial.

Space is limited, please call the library to register!   Registration opens June 1st and sessions begin the week of June 8th.  Attending all sessions is not required, but it is highly encouraged!
