Babes in Bookland

“Babes in Bookland” is a program for children up to age 3-1/2. It takes place each Monday from 10-10:30 a.m. at the Dickinson County Library. Your little ones will be entertained with stories, puppets, music and more. We ask that you attend and participate with your child. Registration is not necessary for Babes in Bookland.

Preschool Storytimes

Preschool Storytime for children ages 3-1/2 to 5 is held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10-11:00 a.m. at the main library in Iron Mountain (see below for Norway storytime). Your independent preschooler will be introduced to literature through the use of books, flannel-board stories, hand puppets and creative dramatics. Children participate in craft projects, clothesline stories and movement to music. Your children will come to love the library by having a fun and positive experience! Registrations for Preschool Storytime are required. Please call the library at 774-1218 to register or for more information.

Norway Storytimes

The Solomonson Branch in Norway holds storytimes for young children on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. This is also a fun program and we ask that a parent or caregiver accompany children. Please call the library at 563-8617 for more information or to register.
