Registration is open, call today!

Cuddle Bugs (Birth to 2 year olds)
Thursdays 10:00-10:30 am
This program is designed to introduce infants to the world of stories. Through sensory exploration and exposure to songs, bounces, rhymes, tickles, puppets and many other enriching circle time activities, your child will be involved in an environment that encourages fun, laughter, and giggles. This interactive program features activities that promote language development and prepare babies for a lifetime of reading! Learn about the Early Literacy Skills and take home a page of rhymes and songs to try at home. To register, call the library at 774-1218.
Wiggle Worms (2 & 3 year olds)
Mondays 10:00-10:30 am
Mondays
11:00-11:30 am
These programs build on the baby experience by introducing stories with more language, simple storylines and predictable plots. While spending this time together, children and their caregivers are encouraged to become actively involved in the stories and to participate in finger plays, songs, and puppet play experiences. A weekly take-home sheet listing books, songs, & rhymes will also be provided to share at home. To register for either time, call the library at 774-1218.
Book Tales (4 & 6 year olds)
Tuesdays 1:30-2:30 pm
A fantastic time for your preschooler to experience a wide variety of literacy and play experiences. Children will engage in stories, rhymes, songs, chants, puppets, and many large-group learning activities. We invite caregivers to join in our opening and closing activities and assist with our craft projects to ease the transition of children attending story time by themselves. To register for Book Tales call the library at 774-1218.
Norway Story Time (All ages)
Wednesdays 10:30 -11:30 am
The Solomonson Branch in Norway holds story time for
young children that is a combination of the above programs. Young children, accompanied by a caregiver, will have a great time interacting with each other through stories and music while learning to love the library. To register, call the Solomonson Branch at 563-8617.
