Alex Awards - The Alex Awards are given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18.

Michael L. Printz Award - This award honors excellence in literature written for young adults.

Finally, a YouTube channel to help with history! Historyteachers adapts popular songs into history lessons.  They’re funny, informative, and incredibly hard to stop watching, and they’re a good introduction to a lot of subjects that teens will be learning in history.
