"Hot Reads for Cold Nights"

Monday, January 12 - Friday, March 20

To take advantage of the cold weather season, the Dickinson County Library is hosting an Adult Winter Reading program!  The program, “Hot Reads for Cold Nights” will begin on Monday, January 12 and run until the first day of spring, March 20th.  Adults 18 and over can sign-up at the Dickinson County Library or any of the branches and receive a reading log to keep track of their books over the winter months.  Sign-up is available during the entirety of the program. If you have any questions, please call 774-1218 for further information.  Happy Reading!

Prom Dress Swap - FREE!

Saturday, March 7, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (Ticket holders only); 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM (General Admission)

The Dickinson County Library will host their 6th Annual Prom Dress Swap on Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM!  If you are interested in donating a dress or any prom accessories, donations must be dropped off at the Dickinson County Library by 6:00 PM on Friday, March 6th.  Dresses must be clean, in excellent condition and on a hanger. When prom goers in grades 9-12 donate a dress, we will provide you with a ticket for a “new to you” dress to redeem from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on March 7th. Teen girls without a dress are welcome to attend the event from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  All teens attending the swap will be entered into a raffle to win prizes from area businesses for hair, nails, tanning, dinner, flowers, and much more!  If you have any questions about the donations, or the swap in general, please call 774-1218.
