How do I get materials from other libraries?

You can place a hold on materials held by other U.P. libraries and it will automatically come here! Search our catalog and place a hold.

You can also request material not held by other U.P. libraries:

Interlibrary Loan is available to all library card holders.

It is not available to MichiCard users.

Simply e-mail us with as much information as you know, or stop by the library to request a book.

If you request a book online, you must come to the library to pick it up. Interlibrary Loan Materials do not qualify for the Books by Mail program.
